These exact same Outsunny polytunnels are still on sale on many many websites.

    I admire your honesty.

A buyer less scrupulous than you would simply buy another one, swap your faulty pole for one of the 50+ good ones and return the new package.

The structure looks extremely flimsy especially having regard to its huge flat sided surface area. I can well understand why the seller warns, 'NOTE: Not suitable for bad weather conditions'.
It might be a chore to dismantle it but you would have to get used to that when the weather forecast is 'windy'.
    thank you :-).

It's typically the difference between what was paid and what was received which might be tricky to quantify in this instance.

If you are happy to drill a hole in the pole and secure your own fixing I'd ask them for £20 or £30, if they are smart they'll hopefully note that is probably cheaper than paying for the return of such an item and being left with dead stock.

Technically you only have to make the goods available for collection and they should refund within 14 days of agreeing there's a problem with the pole.

Their terms and conditions only refer you to the return policy page and the return policy page doesn't contain information that abides by consumer rights (for either change of mind or "faulty" goods) so if it were me I'd hope for a few quid "go away" money rather than them accepting their obligations.

Many thanks for those thoughts .. Ill have to have a look tomorrow at the pole and see if it will compromise its integrity too much with drilling another hole relatively closely.  And as Im not so confident with drills etc, Id have to see if i can find someone to do it for me - which will also be tricky. Doh!  :-)
