I've just set up a Vanquis Fixed Rate 2 Year Bond and had my nominated account verified. I've tried to transfer money to the account from my Halifax account but when I do this on the app, I get a warning message that it is a business account, am I doing something wrong or is this the correct process? Thanks in Advance

Cant you send a quid first to see if their receive it? Should be no issue though if the details are correct.

No, that's correct. You're sending it to Vanquis Bank Limited. Same process as with a lot of building societies and smaller banks, it's the same account number and sort code for everyone and then your account with Vanquis is distinguished by the reference.

No. I tried putting in £5, but they rejected it and sent me an email saying the minimum deposit was £1,000. Frustrating as I always like to put in a small amount for security purposes.
