Is my Vax broken?

Hi!
I have a Vax Blade Max (approx 4 years old). Used it the other day and plugged back in to recharge. It seemed to be charging as usual for a minute or so but then all the lights on the handle started flashing white continuously and doesn't stop. Also doesn't seem to charge properly either. Any advice welcome please. Is it a charger issue or is the battery the problem? I have a video but don't know how to upload one.
Thank you in advance.

Not sure if this is allowed? It is a link to YouTube to my own personal video of how the lights are flashing on my Vax if that's any help.

I don't have a vax but my bet is that it needs a new battery - they don't last forever1

I'm guessing it's that but hoping someone can advise me as I don't want to fork out for a new one if it's a simple fix.0

Vax does have a pretty good customer support system from my experience. Try contacting them although I suspect they are going to say the battery has died. https://www.vax.co.uk/contact#

They've actually said it's the charger which they don't stock anymore. They're trying to source one for me but I'm thinking it will mean a new vacuum 😔.0

Look on eBay for spares and repairs parts? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I'm surprised they are no longer stocking parts for a vacuum that's only 4 years old. Did you buy it new?0

I was too but they said it was "discontinued from their site". They then gave me links to some authorised spares retailers but none of them stocked it either. I guess it's because they have the separate battery pack for their cordless vacuums now. Not great really when, like you say, it's only 4 years old. I bought it direct from them too.GrubbyGirl_2 said:I'm surprised they are no longer stocking parts for a vacuum that's only 4 years old. Did you buy it new?0
