Good morning, still dark , not raining though.
I wasn't out yesterday apart from collecting dg s from school, just did housework.
Going out today for shopping, I might go to Sains for a change, there's a large one not far away.
You'll never guess, the cystocopy I had to see why I had so many hard to get rid of bladder infections, has given me a bladder infection. Apparently it's a known side effect. So it's back to anti b's, I' m ok though.
Hope everyone has a good day, thinking of Coxy's dad and anyone else who is poorly. Take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. I don't know what the weather is doing here, I haven't looked out yet. But sun is forecast for later.
The 2 girlies are still in bed (eldest went back down home 9 ish to see to the rabbits! They take more looking after than children!) If the girls haven't surfaced in about 10 mins I will go up and crack the whip. The usual sausage sandwich has been ordered for breakfast so they are ready and waiting to warm up.. Plus a pancake or crumpet after! (And yes DP1 dare I make anything different, it was a huge Bol Bake for tea!)
Once they have been despatched to school (lift organised) I will tackle the Friday Tidy. Such excitement. Have a good day folks and take care ((HUGS)) for our poorlies and poorly loved ones and MIA. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8 -
Morning All
Cold and frosty this morning, the car is defrosting.
Really busy at work, don't know where it all comes from! Had a trip to Ikea last night to pick up some chairs for school - we had fish and chips while we were there!
I'll catch up properly with all your news later, glad you had a good holiday dp1, sorry you have a dreaded UTI Scarlet.
Hope you all have a good day, take care. XX8 -
What a rotten shame Scarlet, seems so unfair. I hope that the ABs work very soon. It's very foggy here and -3° so I'm still under my duvet. I'll go out in a couple of hours for some frozen veggies as I've run out of green beans and garden peas. And I need carrots too. Later on I've got a short meeting in the afternoon.Yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed the pool session then had a lovely long shower when I deep conditioned my hair ( three minutes) and exfoliated my face and neck. My nails stood up well. I've decided that I mostly like them but not the colour. I had plumped for what I was told was the nearest to natural nail colour but it's too pinky. However, I'm still impressed. The washing is almost dry, it's in the second bedroom on the airer and I've run the dehumidifier for a couple of hours last night and set it off again this morning.I hope that everyone is keeping well and warm.8

Morning all up early as not slept yesterday went well until DS motorbike was stolen from our front drive at 5pm we didn't realise till he went to go back to work at 7pm we have them on the ring doorbell just walking on and wheeling it off faces covered obviously it made me feel physically ill now i am worried we have had people watching the house so i am worried about going away and am tempted to cancel our trip after chatting with neighbours we found out that our road seems to be targeted as someone else had them outside their house at 3am last week with a scanner trying to steal their car it seems to be a daily occurrence in our area according to facebook.
Today I will take DS to work then i need to go to Halfords to get a steering lock for the car as who knows if they will come back all expense i dont need on top of xmas then home just to get on with the weekly clean.
Scarlet I hope the meds work quickly for you
Have a good day one and all stay safe dry and warm xSlava Ukraini9 -
Bella - how awful for you and your DS. It's a strange world we live in. I hope that the bike can be found soon. It's all such a pain all round.8

Morning everyone hope the antibiotics kick in soon Scarlet Bella how awful try not to let it stop you from going away I know it’s easier said than done but unfortunately these scum bags want to steal something they will weather you are there or not all anyone can do is try to make it harder for them and they will move on and I don’t know if it will help but try and have a word with the local police about your concerns they may be able to help you . Very cold but dry here I’m going to help at the bread and butter thing soon at least it’s dry for unloading the van I need to pick up a prescription first then I will get back and have a quick cuppa and a sandwich. A girl I used to work with who moved out of the area when she retired is coming through to visit me tomorrow we keep in touch but I haven’t seen her for a while so I’m looking forward to seeing her . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing7

Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons xx So sorry to hear you've a dreaded UTI - hope the AB's can sort that out xx
Awful about DS's motorbike @bellabella - that's so upsetting and inconvenient too x
I'm WFH today. Boss has a day off but expect she will call me first thing regardless. I asked new boss if I can complete my e-learning before I start to enable me to attend the funeral and she said yes. Can't believe how accommodating they've been over start date, salary and now this. Feel very fortunate.
It's 2 weeks since I had my nails done @Gers - I had ruby red - they are still looking great, although one has squared off (I had a natural rounded shape) due to housework! Lesson learned there!
Dinner tonight is chicken gyro bowls from Slimming Eats - looking forward to that.
Hugs to all the poorlies and those in need xx

Morning all, thanks Scarlet, shame about the infection, hope the ABs work quickly.TA, that sounds like a breakfast to keep the girls going for a whileGers & Camelot, it sounds a lot colder in Scotland, it's about 5 deg. here in the NW.Bella sorry about DS motorbike, especially when he needs it to get to work. It annoys me so much that people think they can just take what they want, things that people have had to work hard for !Early start for us this morning, DH has gone with my DB1 to the NEC classic car show, it prob takes around 2 1/2 hrs to get there. Thankfully DB is driving. Just hope Dh can manage walking round, he has just got an appointment for his next hip injection but it isn't until January DS1 will take me to school this afternoon for DGS. Got a nice surprise yesterday, the flooded path that caused a bit of a row on fb has had a temporary fix , we think by some builders who are working nearby. All the water has gone - the children were amazed when they got to it so well done those men.We had roast chicken last night, then I stripped it & put the bones in the IPot with a load of veg for soup today. Might stick the bm on again too.Coxy - cross posted, glad your new boss is being so reasonable, bodes well for when you start.Have a good day all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all; dry so far here, long may it last.
After our chatty visit from the chimney sweep yesterday I made a batch of Anzac biscuits but I think I may have to replace my bicarbonate of soda. It's just about still in date but didn't fizz up as usual and the biscuits were consequently a bit dense; still tasty though!
Then DS phoned to say DGS has had a hearing test and has glue ear on one side, but not bad enough for grommets. He's been booked back in for a check in a few months and will see if it improves. Then I had another phone call to discuss an event planned for next year so it was a busy morning.
Today we are going to look at dishwashers, as I know ours is no longer cleaning things properly and I'd rather replace it now, whilst it's still working, than have another problem with it breaking down at an inconvenient time. DH has taken a bit of convincing but he's coming with me to look!
Bella; that's scary, just walking up to the house and taking the motor bike. Hopefully he can claim on the insurance but you'll worry in case they come back for the next one now.
Happy Friday everyone.8
