Yes im knew at all this, but i wish i had started earlier. i have found a nice little (4.9%) savings account and im trying to find a few cc's which will offer me super balance transfers. so far ive found only virgin offers to transfer into a current account for free. how do i get round this? im sure there must be a way...right?
If not, is it worth transfering into a reasonably high interest cc account for however long the interest free period allows? Its all a little confusing, but im eager to learn so please if you have any advice that would be great.
thanks

Hi alvarado
Yes there is a way to get around this and that is to route other cards balances via your Virgin card. You can get a full description at http://www.stoozing.com/full.htm

Still getting mixed messages from Virgin regarding fees.
My MBNA account has just reached the end of its 0% so I rang Virgin to see about taking their card out. Was told only BTs done at the time of the application qualified for no fees, all others are at 2% max £35.Ethical moneysaver0 -
Thats what they told me yesterday0

That info is also on their website. Must be done at time of application. Pretty sure A&L (MBNA) is the same. No big deal0
