Zopa App

I recently opened a Zopa savings account for the Christmas prize draw. I notice there has been an update this week on Android and when clicking on the savings pot the app crashes. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Mine hadn't updated yet so I did it manually, and the app is still working for me post-update. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling? Are you on an old version of Android?1

What version of Android do you have ? They've stopped supporting Android 5 & 6. If you're on a newer version than that then it could just be a bug of course, in which case I'd report it.

I'd try rebooting your phone (if you haven't since updating) and uninstalling and re-installing the app as suggested above, if you haven't already.1 -
Thanks for the help refluxer - I did try rebooting and uninstalling and re-installing with no joy. I downgraded and now everything works again0

Just realised I'm still on Android 13, so this sounds like an Android 14 compatibility problem and therefore worth reporting to Zopa ?
Downgrading Android is a risky process and not straight forward. Is that something you've done before ?0 -
oh I downgraded the version of Zopa not Android0

So it seems you can't link a joint current account (FirstDirect) to separate Zopa accounts. I opened a Zopa account yesterday and linked current account and deposited straight away with no problems.
My wife did the same last night and after linking account tried to deposit at least 7/8 times but just gave up. Went through thw whole process and after going through security and FD app it just came back with password not recognised. Tried a small amount after so it wasn't limits. Thought initially it might have been at the FD end causing problem but Zopa chat just told me this was the case. However, they weren't very convincing at first. She has another current account in her own name but was just trying to keep it as simple as possible
