Never needed to entertain this myself so know nothing about it.
If someone was out on the road all week & wanted a wifi connection (specifically they referred to their Xbox) what would they need & the best way to go about it?
They'd be living in a wagon basically for at least 5 days a week.

5G connection on a phone would work depending on where he or she is. Be careful not to go over allowances though, gaming can eat data.0

Some kind of Mifi device with an unlimited SIM card might work. I got one a few years ago when we went away and purchased a 1-month unlimited data SIM. Not the fastest but kept us all connected.

Park up next to a pub, go in, buy a drink, and get the password for their free wifi.As long as it reaches to where you are parked then you're good to use it.I lived next door to a pub for a couple of years, they were quite happy for me to use their customer wifi for free.
They were paying the same for it anyway whoever was using it or not.1 -
Thanks for suggestions.
I know they're currently not on an unlimited data deal for their mobile phone.
Also chances are they probably will end up having to park up in some pretty poor places some times, who knows. Whether that would impact WiFi as well as mobile I've no idea.0 -
5G mobile phone with unlimited data plan with Three or vodafone. (EE / O2 unlimited have data cap)
Hotspot to what ever device when required.0 -
If the mobile phone connection is poor then you will struggle to get any decent data rate coming through. I live a few miles away from a city centre but can only receive 4g and it's not very fast. Half a mile farther on and there's no signal.
Don't expect to get the kind of speeds that a fixed line broadband will provide and don't expect blanket coverage of 4g (never mind 5g) around the country.
It all depends on where you are.0
