Hi all,

As usual - I really appreciate any responses and you are all great :)

I live in the North of England and in an area that's recently suffered from various arson attacks - so this has got me to wondering what would happen were my hedge to be set on fire?

Thank you.

A hedge damaged by fire or malicious acts typically would be covered, obviously check your own policy wording but the insurance would only be covering the cost of removing the damage plants and planting new ones... they wouldn't cover the cost of replacing a hedge with a wall.

If such a claim is worth making based on your excess and future premium increases is another question.
