Scottish graduate endowment fee

Hi,

This fee of £2000 was introduced for those graduating from Scottish uni's in 2005. It was cancelled a year or so later meaning those that started uni in 2001/2002 have paid a very unfair £2000 fee. It has never sat well with me and I was wondering if there was ever any news on this such as if people were able to claim it back.

Any info appreciated but I'm guessing it'll just be a case of wrong time to have graduated.

Yes, if it wasn’t refunded at the time, it won’t be many years later.  Just a case of wrong time, wrong place.
