In addition to the Marks & Spencer cheese puffs 9d from the early 70s, I would bring back the 'flying saucers', melting wafer in the mouth containing sherbet (can't remember how much ... too young ... or too old).
You can still buy flying saucers.
But they don't contain the same sherbert, I think it's sorbitol now (which can have unfortunate digestive consequences if you eat too many 🥴)
The last lot I bought were sweetener free (I don't buy anything apart from toothpaste with artificial sweeteners in)

Flying Saucers Gift Jar from The A-Z Retro Sweet Shop Collection… https://amzn.eu/d/2KLA9YK

    No sorbitol in these ones

Crusha Lime was awesome. They bought it back a few years ago as a limited edition and when I emailed them they said no plans on bringing it back 😢

    Dentyne cinnamon were lush

    ice cream chewits

Horlicks sweets ! My Nan used to make them at the Horlicks factory in Slough

Was never big on choc as a child as my Nan lived within spitting distance of Mars factory and the smell used to make you feel sick after a while

Oooh flying saucers.  It's no wonder my teeth were bad as a child.  Although my favourites are still orange smarties.  As for the new blue ones well words fail me, as they certainly do.

    Blackcurrant Spangles. Pyramint.
On a savoury note - Cheese Whiz
Crispo Crackers. (showing my age now)
  • Fuse and nuts about caramel - obvs!
  • Proper sugar shrimps (the modern ones are nothing like, presuambly being 'better' for us/planet), Aztec bars with raisins, Cabana with the cherries and Bar Six (thank you above for reminding me of those last two).  Prices though...sixpence, maybe, although I suspect not.

M&S used to make a large caramel and chocolate tart that was a sugar junkie's dream.  I miss it.

    Old English Spangles.
I loved the fruit Spangles but thought the Old English ones were  :#. I don’t remember how much they cost but probably 3d/4d?   I loved fruit salad chews, I think they were 4 for 1d.  I can remember getting my 6d pocket money on a Saturday and trotting off to the local sweet shop with my best friend next door.  You could buy a lot for 6d in those days  :)
  • A Spira chocolate bar

Spicy Chili Hula hoops (fairly recently discontinue)

    Lincolnshire biscuits

And the things I'd do for a lemonade sparkle ice lolly.
