All-Inclusive hotel package, travel by train

Hello. We 2xOAPs, have only just discovered the joys of an All-Inclusive Hotel package! Went to Corfu last year, and Majorca this year. Definitely want to continue with a late summer get away, but would now like to ditch the airports and travel by train. Does anyone know of a package deal, or do we need to book hotel and train separately? How's the best way to find suitable hotel? Should I look up a "normal" package holiday and contact hotel direct? Any tips welcome, Thanks.

Use a site like Trivago (other comparison sites are available) because they have an all inclusive filter on the website. That will give you an idea of direct booking costs and what is available, and then you can either book through a third party site or contact the hotel directly if you prefer to see what they will offer.
You can also look on Jet2 or similar as another way of narrowing it down.
I do think you might need to book the train separately so you might also want to check your travel insurance for cover as you don't get the same protections as with a package.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I think your best option would be to book with Trailfinders, tell them what you want and let them sort everything out. Trailfinders are a very reputable agent and you can be confident using them. Dont be tempted to book via online travel agents that initially may look cheaper. One of my friends regulary books throughTrailfinders to travel by train to southern Spain. All trains and hotels along the way are booked by Trailfinders.

There are companies that specialise in tours and holdiays by train - for example
Escorted Group Tours & Rail Holidays Experts | Great Rail Journeys
(no personal experience of them although I used to love looking through their brochures when I was on their mailing list )
and
Railtrail Tours | Quality escorted rail holidays by train

Seat61, the site for everything you need to know on international rail travel, has a page that may be helpfulIf you end up booking accommodation and travel separately, the site has detailed descriptions of how to travel to any destination you might have in mind.

TUI do hotel only bookings - so if you can identify a hotel to your liking that does AI you'll be able to make a reservation there. Can't comment on the rail travel aspect.0
