Thanks to all those that have contributed to the thread so far.
Making another request before I go ahead and get a new ticket using the Barclays Cashback offer instead - has anyone successfully purchased a season ticket through the LNER website and received cashback from NatWest, virgin money, or RBS despite the three of them having clauses excluding season tickets from Cashback please?

Not really - I use a flexi season ticket as I’m not in all days on the week. So I could, but even without cashback it’d be worse value for money.
