shell energy offering £50 credit if you fit smart meters before december

i didnt want smart meters -but they rang me and offered £50 credit if i had them installed so quick think okay i can live with my big brother theories,it wont make a big dent in the winter bills but it helps, i will still check my usage of course

    It will open up a world of TOU tariffs, when you get absorbed by Octopus. Lots of potential to save money.

    Or switch to them before that happens, using a referral code for another £50 credit.

    In keeping with the reference to 'Big Brother earlier, my first thought when reading that line was that Octopus would eventually absorb us all in some 'release the kraken' type way :D
