Finally @dunstonh is it even legal for companies to be offering retail bonds to investors in the UK now? I thought FCA had clamped down on these sales to unwary consumers.
If they are using a mini-bond structure (I haven't been to the site to look), then these should not be offered to retail investors.  They can be offered to high net worth/sophisticated investors.

They cannot be offered through financial promotions.

Thank you eskbanker for spotting both slipups. They have been corrected.

This crowd are popping up again advertising on social media. Reported to FCA as they have no risk warnings and should only be marketed to high net worth investors. Also are claiming to have FSCS protection.

If a company is prepared to break all the requirements for financial advertising to consumers it seems highly likely that you'll lose your money in the same way as LCF or Blackmore.

On Companies House, they are listed as dormant up to Jan 2022 (as said above).
They appear to have 3 directors listed on Companies House, the longest serving was appointed in April 2022, only one is listed as having "significant control" with 75% of the shares.
The "Nature of Business" listed is Management consultancy activities other than financial management (my bold)

And also shown on Companies House, no employees and £120 assets. What could possibly go wrong!

When the OP says they look ok from their research, you wonder what exactly was looked at other than Trustpilot. Shame they never came back to enlighten us.

I have been contacted by them. I have just read the link above and all I can say is "wow!" I'm so glad I have checked this forum for information. I will not be going anywhere near them. Thanks to you contributors.

I don't think (the legitimate company) Cynergy are going to be very happy.

Companies choosing to name themselves as a misspelling of commonly-used words only have themselves to blame if that results in confusion!

I've since looked through their entire application process as well as some of their Facebook posts.

I think it's fair to say that from what they have posted this is not a legitimate investment and there is some element of deception or scam going on. I don't use that word lightly but when a company isn't FCA regulated yet claims they are offering tailored financial advice to customers there is definitely something dodgy going on and all is not above board.

Furthermore the very small print of their brochure states that offers are only available to those with over £250k to invest but nowhere in their application process is any mention made of this or checks done on the status of the applicant. Investment Synergy are supposedly a lead generation company that pass the contacts on to others that sell these bonds yet as part of their application process they give an HSBC bank account for customers to make payments to without any detailed information on what they are investing into.

Especially when they choose as execrable a management-speak word as that one... no sympathy from me...
