as above, definitely stop paying them, and if you're as fortunate as me they wont ever be able to supply the CCA and it will become statute barred so even more unenforceable .1

I've blocked their PRAa number but I get answerphone messages from them every day or two. It doesn't bother me at all and I'm quite used to it now - when I hear the Scottish woman saying please call us back by I almost subconsciously press three to delete.

HFC Bank went into liquidation in 2017, the unsecured loan books were sold to HSBC, who will have off loaded them to various debt purchasers since then.
The thing is, the credit agreements for these loans always stay with the original creditor, they do not accompany the debt they pertain too when sold.
I very much doubt anyone will even know where to look for such paperwork now, 6 years later, for a liquidated company, I recon you can safely ignore this one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Thank you everyone for you help and encouraging comments . I'm determined to stay strong on this one and not capitualte to them. Hopefully they won't call me as there is a note on my account to contact me by letter only due to my bipolar. If they do ring I'll just block them.
