Where do you live? That affects which ferry crossings are easy options, Newcastle, Harwich, Newhaven are all options as well as the Eurotunnel.
If you travel via Harwich, your ticket can include onward train travel to anywhere in the Netherlands, on the day of arrival.

I don't drive so reliant on public transport.

Another vote for Krakow, although in March it would be somewhat chilly.
And if you could bear to take a bus south over the mountains you could explore Slovakia, perhaps visiting Bratislava and then on to Budapest, to complement your memories of Prague and Vienna.0
