Rolls Royce Share Price

Hello you very wonderful and amazing individuals that make up this forum. I sincerely hope you are doing well.

I note recently that Rolls Royce share price has increased rapidly and the Earnings Guidance has increased. Can i please kindly ask has any other Fundamentals changed within the company for us to see this rapid growth in the Share Price please? If anyone kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever grateful and thankful for your support with this.

I'm in and out of RR a fair bit. Turnaround has been more than expected. Sales are forecast up , profits up , debt down and cash flow much improved. Dividends to return soon . EPS of 13p for 2025 so on a forward P/E of 17 . There'll be more to come I'd imagine. Company statement 28th NOV. Read up on SMR technology as RR has been one of the leaders.

Luckily for long term holders the rights issue of 10 new for 3 held was at 30p . The price at the time was way below the float price of 185p in 1980's. Set the chart to ALL  .

Now if you'd invested in Unilever which produces well known household brands it's a different story. Just shows the chance you take when buying a single company stock. Set the chart to ALL.

For me 2 things stand out. RR winning a contract to supply engines for the American B-52 bombers. This is like selling sand to the Arabs. Think about the on going maintenance revenues and the possibilities to open up other locked doors to the American military. Bit like selling snow to the Eskimos.

Also going forward is the future technology like small modular reactors.

I have 1,000 RR shares in my portfolio and since I purchased in 2020 I now see a 126% rise, so well pleased.

My last adviser's report quoted "high post-pandemic aero sales" ( mainly US planes ).

For all avid followers of my stocks and shares experiences, this is my final post on forum for a while as we are off to our Mahé home from next week until March ( and I don't look at forums on holiday). Enjoy the great UK winter, best wishes and see you next year.

At yesterday's closing price 1,000 RR shares are worth £2,241.

I invested in RR stocks a couple of years ago, anticipating post pandemic growth as they returned to dividends. Glad I did.
Unlike most of my other investments which have bombed.

However, in the context of OP's enthusiasm for researching and investing in individual shares, it's a useful textbook example of the difficulties in doing so....
