Does such a thing exist?!?

Hello,

I overheard someone talking about a scheme whereby a student at uni can finish off the final year of a degree in an apprenticeship scheme, where they are learning on the job as they are completing their final year. Big companies like GlaxoSmithKline were mentioned so they can mould the students to role within their company.

Does any know if any such scheme exists?

Thank you!

Yes, masters with one year placement, a four year degree.
Some Unis do the placement in year three, with students returning for year four.
Information and opportunities are on most of the corporate websites.
Students get paid for the year and also have reduced Uni fees for the duration of the placement.
