Just been advertised on MSE but when you go to the site its only offering 5.30% AER for 6 month and 5.8% for 1 yr - what gives?

Whatever is on their site is the rate you'll get. Maybe the product has been withdrawn since MSE wrote the articleRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

Clearly withdrawn very recently as moneyfacts is also showing 5.75%0

It's actually pretty common for top-paying accounts to only be around for a short time at the moment, especially when they're featured on popular sites like MSE or Martin Lewis's TV program. There have been instances where some have only been available for less than a day - literally a matter of hours !Aldog01 said:

This account was on offer since September, perhaps earlier. Not sure why MSE decided to feature it recently - I didn't see the article - but as pointed out above, that probably led to it being withdrawn.0
