This is madness. Saw a blouse in Next for £38 but didn’t have my size! So ordered on line. Then given option to pay in 3 instalments and get £10 off. Filled out credit form and then I get offered £3000 credit! Where is the sense?

But they may increase it in future if you manage it well.0 -
Think about this one.....you've applied for credit (you would have had full pre-contract credit information to read and full terms and conditions to sign) and they've given you a sizeable limit for a retailer.....a) they are obviously happy with your application and believe you're good for £3k worth of debt and b) if they offer you £3k you MIGHT be very tempted to spend it, buying more NEXT products.....win win for them.If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
