Mystery Direct Debit!

I recently scrapped BT and switched to 3 5g broadband in order to save money and space from plugs and cables and i have saved around £15 a month.
When my new direct debit for 3 was set up on my current account it was labelled H3G however another direct debit calling itself TalkTalk Payments has been set up on the same time and date.
I was immediately suspicious of this and contacted 3 and they denied it was anything to do with them stating the only DD for paying them would be titled H3G.
I have never been a TalkTalk payments customer and so have told my bank to cancel this as unrecognised and I'm now waiting for it to disappear.
Can anyone shed any light on what could of happened here as it sounds like the 3 representative set it up on my account as a scam although i can't prove anything.

Could be a scam, or just a mistake by the representative. Keep an eye on your account regularly, and make sure the genuine H3G payments go out as planned, or you might find yourself cut off.0
