Deposit protection scheme for home improvement

Hi, I’d like any and all advice!
I’m looking to get a home extension and the company I’d like to go with are part of scheme that offers deposit/stage payment protection but only upto £5000, which is a lot less than the deposit or any stages payments. As we’ve been quoted £57k, we also can’t be covered by Section 75.
Is there any other way we can get protection? I can’t seem to find any other deposit schemes for this sort of thing that would cover all our money.
