Redundancy whilst on Secondment

Hi,

I currently work for the NHS, my substantive position is employed on a Band 5 27 hours per week contract.

I have been on secondment for the last 3 years, full time at a higher banding.

There is a chance my substantive post is going to be made redundant.  Can anyone advise if my redundancy package would be based on part time band 5 or if the secondment affects this?

Thanks in anticipation.
Busy mother of two, juggling with my new job as Infant Feeding Support and keeping up with good household management!

I became debt free after losing my Mum :A ...I'd rather be poor again.

From Agenda for Change (my bold for emphasis)

A month’s pay, subject to a total annual earnings floor of £23,000 and cap of £80,000, will be either an amount equal to 1/12th of the annual salary at the date of termination or 4.35 times a week’s pay whichever is more beneficial to the employee (the average month has 4.35 weeks). The calculation of 4.35 times a week’s pay should be made in accordance with the Employment Rights Act 1996.
