legalities of asking for social club fees / GDPR creation?

Options
  • what is the legalities of asking for a local club who litterally just wants to cover Liability insurance, running of the club system we use.
  • Can I create my own GDPR statement (will do extensive reasearch)
  • Am I allowed to start a club without board of directors/leadership or do i have to have this before getting members

Club is literally for members of the local area aged 18+ to meet up and create friendships, try different activities and boost mental health... nothing too fancy !

You can do what you want. I think you're overthinking things.

Possibly, but it is worth future proofing if you can do it without stifling the creation of the club.

Could be worth contacting the local volunteer support organisation to get some ideas. You don't NEED a constitution and a formal committee, but when just one person is doing everything and whenever other people's money is involved, it helps to have support.
