Yahoo lock out

Since two days ago our yahoo email accounts have one hour locks until we can sign in. This happens over and over throughout the day. Tried setting up 2 step verification on one but hasn't helped. Using a laptop to access them, I've checked default location, cleared cookies and even cleared everything possible in my microsoft account. Nothing so far has helped. Been through settings in Yahoo, the only thing I found was my sign in activity does correspond with my sign ins but the location is often wrong. As its happening to four different email accounts I'm guessing its something within my laptop triggering the problem, all I'm getting fromYahoo is stock answer of too many failed attempts/unauthorised access attempts. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Are you using a VPN or Tor or something like that? These email providers don't like that as they disguise your location and set off all the security triggers which will eventually temporarily lock the account.0

No, I don't use anything like that.0

Can you try logging in via the Yahoo app on your phone. This will have a completely different location setting.
I would also try a different browser if using your laptop.
I'm using Yahoo and have never come across that issue.0 -
I'm afraid I have an old fashioned mobile with no apps! Incognito and internet explorer didn't work. Searched for answers online and seems like it happens randomly to users for no apparent reason and Yahoo have no fix for it.
I've just gone through laptop settings again, removed outlook account, added Yahoo to save cookies etc, but nothing helps. All four are blocked again this morning. Two accounts are registered to me, the other two family members, the only link is we are all using the same laptop to access them.
