I have been with BG for 4 yrs on my electric still under the old system account starting with 8, I have had adjustments on previous bills and worked out what they were for, I sent them a full month of readings last week to they know what my bills might look like and I asked them for the reduction in DD. The price changes happen every 3 months at the moment surely the have enough from previous bills to roughly calculate readings, the BG guy didn’t really know much however is this legal without any explanation?
(Debitcardmayhem) wrote no meter readings in the daytime.
my Meter man and myself give only one reading which BG place in my nighttime and start calculating the daytime figures which are fictional, I have done an overnight test with my oven this calculated my nighttime into my daytime, so with this meter I loose out on nighttime prices. Which I am happy with for now In order the get the below sorted out
My own last meters reading were 29/9/23 14405 25/10/23 14467. Now I said I have on going issues with billing and readings with BG, my nighttime readings should be in the daytime area and my and vice Versa, nighttime should actually be 00000, the meter has been like that since installation and my previous energy company used to bill according.0 -
Erm... okay, back up a sec. Couple of questions.Birdiefly said:my Meter man and myself give only one reading which BG place in my nighttime...
You're on a dual rate tariff (day and night) - and earlier you gave me day and night readings - Were those YOUR readings from the meter or BG estimated readings?
Do you have a smart meter or a 'traditional' meter?
Can you actually see the two lots of readings on your meter (with a 'traditional' meter you should see day, night and total on separate registers)I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.0 -
I know we are going off my original question, however this is one has been raised with BG and still in escalation.
I had written what the bill readings show in day and night. As not to confuse anyone with this issue.
my actual readings show 1: is with figures daytime 2: is nighttime 00000
