This is in relation to a parking fine vs Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd that I received on 16/01/2019.
So I've received a letter from Gladstones in relation to a parking fine which I am contesting against.
Following the newbie thread - I have sent them an email on 27/08/2022 saying I am seeking debt advice but deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
They responded on 08/09/2022 with "Thank you, we have put your file on hold for 30 days. We look forward to hearing your repayment proposals when this date has elapsed on 27th September 2022".
During this time I've made some preparations, requested for SAR and pretty much drafted my statement. I have heard absolutely NOTHING from Gladstones since 08/09/2022, or whether the case has gone to court.
What's going on? Is there a time limit on this?

You can expect to receive a N1 claim form next, providing that your V5C was up-to-date at the time of the incident. If you have moved recently, check that the V5C has your current address and that PCMUK and Gladstones also have it, you don't want a claim form going to an old address.2

You last heard from them over a year ago and have not moved house without telling them?
And there was never an old address at the DVLA in 2019 that the parking firm held (at first) as well?
In that case, you might still get a claim but if you are sure no party holds two possible addresses for you then just wait and see!
The charge times out 6 years after 2019.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have moved house, and I have informed both PCMUK and Gladstone of my move. Have received a reply from both confirming receipt.
Gladstone sent me a letter at my new address so they are very much aware of where I live.
I will be changing my car soon (early next year) - do I need to make them aware of this?
Its all been quiet and I'm beginning to feel uneasy about this.0 -
But you do need to tell them both to ERASE the old address... did you use that word?
If not, they have two to choose from.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would've thought "I'm moving house, here's my address..." is enough for them to know they should erase the old address..!Coupon-mad said:But you do need to tell them both to ERASE the old address... did you use that word? Ifnor, they have two to choose from.
You're right though, it wouldn't surprise me if they're sending all the letters to the old address.0 -
No it's not enough.
This is unsafe. Email their DPOs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
