This thread is regarding a fine from WiseParking after the driver dropped off a minor at A&E who was incapacitated and in a lot of pain,  The driver did not take an ambulance due to the Ambulance strikes and not wanting to add to the burden because not life threatening. The driver asked the security if it was ok to park there and was told yes, The initial nurse on the door said there were no wheelchairs and the driver had to personally go walk around the hospital trying to locate a wheelchair before enabling exit from the vehicle.  Once wheelchair was found, child was in A&E, The vehicle was parked in car park and a ticket purchased.

I have been following the Newbies guide, so far with no need for my own thread as the guide is comprehensive and easy to follow,  WELL DONE.

After the robust response was sent before deadline of the LOC from BW Legal the attached Data Protection Letter was received, which apparently is an auto response. However there doesn't appear to be a correct response to these auto reply emails on the Forum?

Should they be ignored? They have a date by which a response should be provided, which is redacted.   Within the letter it states that if you dont reply they wont be able to add the ROBUST RESPONSE to the case?  At the same time would signing a reply by default become an acceptance of this case?

All the other redacted parts are cleverly placed QR codes and tiny
case reference numbers, so clearly need to be removed before posting on public forums.

Many thanks in advance

First plan with hospital is always complain to PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) at the hospital.  Contact details will be on hospital trust website or ring switchboard to put you through. If they say it is nothing to do with them refer them to the government guidance https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/nhs-patient-visitor-and-staff-car-parking-principles/nhs-patient-visitor-and-staff-car-parking-principles and ask for the matter to be referred to CEO as a formal complaint. To quote from the guidance 'NHS organisations are responsible for the actions of private contractors who run car parks on their behalf.'

    Complain to your MP.

It's only a form asking a few basic questions. Answer them. It's not a big deal form. All the answers are clearly "no" except the fact you do have evidence of the A&E admission.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
