in Techie Stuff
I'm on a Chromebook and I need to share quite a number of pictures with other folk. Which might not be a problem if I was up to speed with this sort of stuff, and I didn't need to share them with elderly people who are easily flummoxed by anything more "techie" than email on a Windows laptop.
First off, am I right in thinking that there's a limit to the total file size you can send by email? If so, what's the limit?
Secondly, I usually resize my pictures to 2500px on the longest side which gives a file size of up to 5MB. Could I go smaller than that and detail still be visible when the recipient views it?
And finally is there perhaps another way of skinning this particular cat?

Thank you for the suggestions. Sorry to be a dumb thing, but what's the difference as far as something like this is concerned between Drive and Photos? If I send somebody a link to Google Drive, can't they see everything in my Drive? If I use Photos, presumably they can only see what's in the album? We're all doomed0

No, they can only see what you give permission to see.
Th easiest way is to create a shared album in Google Photos. Put in the email addresses of the people you want to be able to see the photos <you can also select to allow them to add their own photos if you want>
If they don't have Google Photos installed they'll get a link to click to view the photos.
If they do have Google Photos then the shared album will appear in Photos
If they have an iOS or MacOS device the shared album will appear in their photos app (and Google Photos if they have it)1 -
Thank you. That's me sortedWe're all doomed0
