THE VOICE UK SERIES 12 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) residents in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draw period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group Plc or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to The Voice UK Series 12 programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, post and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 3 November 2023. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and online at 10.00am on Monday 15 January 2024.
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 18 January 2024. 

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”). Any Entry Credit(s) used in this Prize Draw will also contribute to the Cap.

Prize: 

 

There is one (1) prize consisting of £80,000 cash, a car and a holiday e-voucher. 

 

(i) £80,000 cash 

 

This element of the prize consists of £80,000 (eighty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

(ii) A car 

 

This element of the prize consists of a hybrid Jeep Compass Trailhawk car in Alpine White, including road tax for the first year, first registration fee, number plates and £30 worth of fuel (the “Car”). 

 

The prize provider of the Car will use reasonable efforts to deliver the Car to either: (i) a local dealership; or (ii) the winner’s home address, at the winner’s choice, within three (3) months of receipt of all correct and valid documentation from the winner. Such documentation includes without limitation a valid insurance cover note to register the Car, a current driver’s licence and a current and valid photo ID such as a UK passport. The winner is responsible for insuring the Car and all other costs associated with taking up the Car. The winner may choose to register the Car in another person’s name subject to receipt of correct and valid documentation for that person.

 

(iii) A holiday e-voucher

 

This element of the prize consists of an e-voucher worth £10,000 (ten thousand pounds) for the winner to redeem with the prize provider of the Voucher’s via email (as communicated to the winner) against one (1) holiday (“Voucher”). The winner may use the Voucher to purchase: (i) flights from any UK airport, accommodation at selected hotel(s) and/or cruise ship on the board basis and room type selected (nights are to be used in consecutive order and cannot be split), transfers from the airport to the hotel and experience as part of the holiday. Please note restrictions (including date restrictions) may apply depending on the chosen holiday, and the holiday will be subject to accommodation and flight availability.  

 

The Voucher cannot be used to pay for meals, spa facilities, room service, gratuities or treatments at the accommodation, stopovers, travel insurance, visa requirements, or any other expenses or any extras payable locally. The Voucher may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, gift cards, Travellers Cheques, cash passports or any other form of currency, and may not be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts.

 

The Voucher can be used towards a single holiday of up to one (1) month and up to £10,000 (“Maximum Spend”). If the winner’s order value exceeds the Maximum Spend, the winner must pay any costs above such Maximum Spend. If the winner’s order value costs under the Maximum Spend, no cash exchange will be offered and the balance will be deemed forfeited. The Voucher cannot be reloaded. 

 

The Voucher is valid for one (1) year from the date of receipt. The winner must make their booking at least fourteen (14) days prior to the intended departure date. Please note that the prize will be deemed forfeited if any cancellation or amendments are made to the booking less than seven (7) days before departure. 

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas (as applicable), passport and any other legal travel documentation required for the travelling party. 

 

There is no cash alternative. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and is subject to the prize provider of the Voucher’s terms and conditions available at https://help.flightcentre.co.uk/s/article/booking-conditions-uk, and the relevant airline(s). 

 

Please note that the Promoter and/or prize provider of the Voucher will not replace or reimburse the monetary value of the Voucher if it is lost, stolen or damaged. The winner is responsible for the transaction(s) on the Voucher except those caused by fraud or negligence by the prize provider of the Voucher (or its employees). If the Voucher is defaced, mutilated or altered, it may not be accepted, replaced or refunded.

 

Flight Centre’s flight-inclusive holidays are financially protected by the ATOL scheme although the Voucher and the winner’s account with Flight Centre are not financially protected.   

 

The winner may not may not resell or offer for resale the Voucher at a premium (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or use it for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If the winner sells or uses the Voucher in breach of these conditions, the prize provider of the Voucher may in its absolute and sole discretion cancel or render invalid the Voucher without a refund and the winner may be refused redemption of the Voucher. The prize provider of the Voucher will take all reasonable steps to notify the winner of its intention to cancel or render invalid the Voucher within a reasonable time before cancelling or rendering invalid the Voucher.
