• Competition opened at 12.00 (Midday) on 02.11.2023.
• Competition closes at 12:00 (Midday) on 01.02.2024 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1) The prize comprises a two (2) night stay in London for two (2) adults and two (2) children including the following;

a) Two (2) nights at Vintry and Mercer, London sharing two superior interconnecting rooms

b) Daily Full English breakfast at the hotel

c) Four (4) VIP entry tickets for The Gun Powder Plot Experience (Recommended for 10+ years) which includes:

i) A one course meal and a drink per person

ii) An exclusive themed cocktail or mocktail to enjoy during the interval

iii) A souvenir printed photograph

iv) A merchandise bundle for each guest

v) Reserved VIP area in the main bar after the show

d) Four (4) tickets for a 40-minute River Thames cruise taking in the Tower of London

e) Four (4) tickets for entrance to The Tower of London

f) £1000 spending money

2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

3) The prize must be taken by 15th December 2024 but cannot be taken over the following dates; August 28th 2023, 15th December 2023 to the 5th January 2024, 25th March 2024 to the 8th April 2024, 6th May 2024, 27th May 2024, 26th August 2024 and Wimbledon event dates 2023 and 2024. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions.

4) Booking is subject to availability. 

5) The winner can travel as two (2) adults as opposed to a family of four (4) if required

6) A BACS transfer for the £1000 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed

7) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

8) Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

9) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

10) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

11) If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all winners affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

12) Any additional charges or expenses due to COVID-19 which could include but are not limited to  quarantine hotels, COVID passports (should they become a requirement), COVID tests etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner. 

13) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

14) Neither Channel 5 nor the prize provider are responsible for organising travel arrangements for this prize, it will be the winners responsibility to organise this appropriately throughout their stay unless otherwise stated.  

15) Accommodation and footage kindly provided by Vintry and Mercer and The Gunpowder Plot.
