Parking Eye CCJ set aside & multiple tickets

Hi, I was issued a claim form for 4 parking eye tickets i received in a work hospital car park (from 2022-2023).
I filed an acknowledgement of service but thought i had an extra 14 days from submission not the date of the claim so i have lost my chance to submit a defence.
I have now received a letter stating i must pay parking eye the amount plus court fee and legal costs = £763.07.
I can see from the forums i can now submit a N244 to ask for the CCJ to be set aside.
Is this my best course of action ?
Can I defend multiple tickets?
What are the time scales for submitting N244 please?
I have read a lot and am happy to search the forums but cant find anything quite the same as my case.

Sorry but you are out of options.
You must pay in full because you'd have no grounds to set aside a claim you'd acknowledged.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Your only option is a risky one where you could end up owing the original CCJ plus the £275 set aside fee. You would have to be able to argue that you have a good chance of defending the claim under CPR 13.3.
If you were able to persuade the court that CPR 13.3 can override your failure to submit a defence at the time, you would be able to get it set aside. IANAL and maybe you should try someone like Contestor Legal Services who can advise. https://www.contestorlegal.co.uk/2 -
Thanks for answering me.
So even if i said in my acknowledgement i wanted to defend the claim . Its a no go?
Also, does that now mean i have a CCJ on my credit record0 -
Also, does that now mean i have a CCJ on my credit recordNot if you pay it by the deadline set by the judge/court. Don't be late on that front, otherwise you're in for 6 years of serious financial grief. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you are within the 30 days (or whatever the judgment says) of the CCJ being issued, if you pay it in full within that time, it is completely expunged from your record. If you pay it in full after that period, it is marked as "satisfied" but remains on your credit record for 6 years.seashell231 said:Thanks for answering me.

Regarding the claim, you acknowledged that you had received it (been served) but then did not file your defence within the time allowed which allowed the claimant to seek a default judgment. You would need a very good and persuasive argument to convince the court why they should allow you to proceed with a set aside under CPR 13.3.2 -
Thanks all for your replies, thats really helpful and clear. Ok off to book some overtime and pay it in full !0

Hopefully a useful lesson learn, unfortunately the hard way. Next time they try to scam you, you know where to come first for advice.2

If the above relates to parking to work at the hospital I sincerely hope the management have patients interest very much to heart because they obviously do not value their staff (assuming they are aware of this case)3
