            Hi,
Can anyone point me to the right place to get a visa for Dubai? I don't want to unnecessarily go to one of those agents that charge more than you need to pay, but I can't tell what the right site is.
Thanks!

Holiday or business and for how long?UAE visa on arrival30‑day visit eligibilityIf you are a passport holder of the below country or territory, no advance visa arrangements are required to visit the UAE. Simply disembark your flight at Dubai International and proceed to immigration, where your passport will be stamped with a 30‑day visit visa free of charge.

Sorry, I'm back.. I might be being blind or silly but I still can't see where to apply for a tourist visa? The link on that page for e-visas https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/HomePage.aspx only seems to let you apply for an entry permit, which I think is different to a tourist visa and requires a sponsor, etc. Also seems to be more for people who have already booked an Emirates fight. I'm trying to get a 30-day visa for someone who lives in the UK but a different nationality that requries a visa.

possibly... although it doesn't say what you do with the form afterwards. I think I've found a link within Emirates for an online visa application, so fingers crossed. Thank you!

"If you are travelling to or stopping over in Dubai with Emirates, you can submit an application and receive your UAE visa entirely online – without having to submit your passport for stamping. You can apply for your UAE visa through our Manage your booking after you book your Emirates flight. VFS processing fees apply"1

I've just tried to apply for the visa online with Emirates using the booking reference, but unfortunately I can't do it that way as the person is from Nepal (living in UK) and it won't accept that nationality. Ugh!

What type of visa is it you need? This is the official gov website for a tourist one.
