Home insurance query re business

My home insurance is up for renewal, comparing quotes I'm asked if the home is used for business and I'm not sure how to answer. I run a CL caravan site on my field (not static and doesn't require business license or anything like that), The CL has its own separate insurance (Devitts). The home one just a standard buildings and contents (Admiral). Running the site is basically cutting the grass and taking bookings over my mobile. I don't need extra cover on the home insurance for the CL as its already covered but really don't know how to answer 'is the home used for business' as surely my policy will increase if I say yes!

Work from home clerical roles are fine for the vast majority of insurers. However, the minute you include visitors to your site, hold stock or business assets, then many will baulk at that.

If the field does form part of the title of your home then you are running a full business from your home. Assuming there is a separate title for the field and its in no way covered by your home insurance then you can probably just declare clerical business use for the phone calls, doing the accounts etc as long as a camper is never going to hop the fence and ring your doorbell if they find the site it waterlogged or they've got stuck in the mud or something.0 -
Thanks for replies. Yes the field is on the house deeds as my home. I have a private fenced garden attached to the back of the house and a drive way around the house onto the field situated behind an outbuilding. No one comes into the house, not to the door either as they go straight onto the field where I go out to meet them. Reading Admirals help pages think I'm going to have to phone them as it says you don't have to let them know if its clerical but to mention any other business
