Sorry to say i'm absolutely fed-up with BG. All the messing about with them changing accounts systems, Bills with no usage information, and worse i'm still on a day/night (economy 7 type) tariff which i was told would be changed to standard back in January!
Anyway, i have applied to Octopus, who have confirmed i can be on a normal tariff. Before i pull the pin, what are my chances of getting BG to refund the difference ( i estimate a few hundred quid) within a reasonable time frame ?

When you say "difference", do you mean your account balance? Or something else?

Sorry if not clear. Account balance. I'm certain that my accumulated DD's (£125+£95 pm) will exceed usage over summer by quite a lot.QrizB said:When you say "difference", do you mean your account balance? Or something else?

OK, so BG have six weeks to issue you with a final bill when you switch, and then have two further weeks to refund your credit balance. If they don't make the refund on time, there's a £30 penalty that they have to pay you.Oldernowiser said:
