Sun Damage moles/freckle style on face - What treatment works to remove them

My face has become more and more marked with patches of brown pigment probably due to sun damage in the past but I always had more moles than average so maybe they are just multiplying. More flat spots than moles really now.
I would like to go have at least some removed but unsure what treatment would help me.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks
Flora x

I think this question may be veering towards medical advice, which this forum is not allowed to do. I would agree that seeing a GP before looking at any cosmetic treatment might be of benefit.

I should have said that I have been to doctors about them (skin tags too) but they no longer have the budget to treat any conditions that are not threatening.
I had a look at some local beauty clinics but I have no idea what all the procedures are at all as I have never really gone down that route for anything nails, eyebrows etc.....

  • I have had a similar issue. My local skin clinic is very good. Although they do work for NHS removal of sun spots and normal moles etc is done privately. Treatment is either cryotherapy or having them cut off after a local anaesthetic. It has been very effective for myself. My last visit cost £65 including consultation. I have probably had about 5 treatments over the past 4 years. Very quick too. They also can check and see right away if anything is dodgy.
