How to get statement for a closed Nationwide saving account

Hi,
I had a regular saving account with Nationwide that matured couple of months ago.
How do I get a statement for it (pdf file is fine)? I can't seem to find it anywhere (the account was set up as paperless so never received statements in post).
Thanks!

Yes, it's a shame that they don't have a section for closed accounts like many banks do. In my experience, building societies that don't will often post you a final statement instead but I'm not sure whether this is regardless of your paperless settings.
If you just want an interest summary then, on the online banking site, you can go to Interest & tax paid (under 'Related services' on the homepage) and at the bottom there is a link for requesting an interest certificate for closed accounts. They usually arrive by post 1-2 weeks later.2 -
I need the statement showing every single incoming payment. I'm using the money as a deposit for a house purchase and need to prove where the money came from. Apparently proof of the payments leaving my current acc. are not enough, need a statement for the saving account the payments went to as well (but that acc. was closed on maturity and the balance automatically transferred to an easy access acc. - I have statement for this).refluxer said:Yes, it's a shame that they don't have a section for closed accounts like many banks do. Did you ever manage to get a resolution for this? I'm having exactly the same issue with nationwide. Customer service keep promising me statements that never turn up.Yorkie006 said:
