EDF supplied wrong meter instead of Economy 7

EDF use a third party company (Morrisons Data Services) to install their meters so doubt they really care about the customers. They are mostly likely more concerned about moving on to the next job and knocking off early / on time.0

I believe most energy suppliers use independent contractors to install (and check) meters, at least in some areas? It's more efficient than having a team travel all around the country.
Around here at least the positive is that they're less likely to get lost on the way to the smaller villagesI'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.0 -

Sorry did not know how to reply before! Thank you to everyone who has replied, I am going to do all the things you have suggested. I did call Citizens Advice Bureau who put me through to the EDF customer Complaints Team. The person I spoke to confirmed that I was on an E7 tariff and had been put down for a E7 meter. He tried to change it electronically but couldn't so they will send someone out to look at the meter, it will be 7-10 days The meter is an EDMI ES12-B. 9 (I have tried to put a photo on but it won't load). I didnt get this in writing so will contact them again.

I don't think you can post pictures until you have a few posts under your belt (to deter spam) but you can upload the picture somewhere and post a link (maybe?) - or just wait to see if the problem gets fixed in the next week (I'm ever the optimist
