Easy: Successfully appealed PCN due to 14 days rule

I recently successfully appealed a PCN and thought I'd share my experience here, because while I read the Newbie guide (which isn't the easiest read tbh), I didn't follow the guide completely.
I received a NTK from NCP for allegedly stopping on a Gatwick Red Route. The letter invited me, as the registered keeper, to let them know who the driver was, and there'd be a £100 parking charge, reduced to £60 if paid within 28 days. The date of sending the notice was 50 days after the date of incident so it was signifcantly over the 14 days.
I therefore immediately appealed, and here's my wording:
Thank you for your recent notice to keeper. I note that the date of incident is significantly more than 14 days prior to sending the notice. I therefore decline your invitation to notify you of the name and current address of the driver having considered our obligations under POFA 2012. In addition, I note that your notice makes no mention of POFA 2012 and you have not included the period of stopping.
Should this appeal be declined, I will appeal to POPLA who will uphold my appeal on the basis of this black and white matter.
NCP upheld my appeal and cancelled my charge 2 days later. In total, this was resolved within 4 days of my receiving the NTK. So in my experience, I was able to easily resolve without waiting until 25 days after the notice was issued, and I didn't bother contacting the landowner because in my case that was Gatwick Airport, so I was fairly certain I wouldn't get very far with them.
Hope this helps!

Sorry, not sure I'm able to edit my posts yet, but just to add, for anyone who finds this post, the 14 days was because the "incident" was captured via ANPR. I believe the timings are very different when it's a ticket on a windscreen.0
