eToro - anyone using eToro? What are your experiences & funding the account in USD

Hello,
I’m thinking to open an eToro account primarily out of curiosity and to buy a very small amount of Bitcoin (just for fun). I am aware that Bitcoin and Crypto is highly volatile and high risk, only plan to try with a very small amount.

I have all my investments with well established traditional Platforms (AJ Bell etc) in ETFs and funds.
However curious to hear of people’s experiences and of how or what they use eTorro to invest in. Is it safe to use eToro?
Also how do you find eToro, I understand funding it has to be in USD - do you transfer from your regular UK bank current account or are you using PayPal or Skrill?

I use eTorro for Crypto and find them to be very good.
Free trading which is offset by a slightly larger buy/sell spread than others (so not really free!)
They are regulated in the UK (Crypto isn't) and don't envisage any problems (anything negative on their end would almost certainly hurt all their other business/reputation)
Website and app are the slickest of all the ones I use with lots of features, although be prepared to get lots of notifications.
Quick withdrawals and easily funded with a UK card, I have had no bank checks with them probably because they are regulated and not known just as a Crypto exchange.1 -
I looked at eTorro a while back and they weren't as good as IG and CityIndex, mainly because the margin requirements and spreads were higher. I wasn't looking specifically at crypto though.1
