    If it isn't to be used that often cheapest condenser you can find,  You can plumb into the washer waste pipework.

    Heat pumps are expensive and complicated to save a few pence a week on electricity costs.  They are also about 50% heavier than condenser dryers so bear that in mind if you want to put it on top of a washing machine.

    Many thanks for the info on heat pump dryers. certainly something I shall explore when my existing condenser expires.
