The three main points to look at are -
- Location of the gas pipe. Gas enters the property in the utility room, directly below.. Also, when we move our kitchen, the engineer has confirmed the gas can be teed easily to the new cooker location.
- Proposed flue exit point in relation to doors, windows, and boundaries.The quote specifies something needed for the new flue to make it compliant. I forget the name but it was discussed in detail.
- Suitable switched fused spur in the utility room. We recently upgraded the consumer unit (also in utility) and the electrician is aware we were thinking of moving the boiler, and said that bit would all be fine.
