NHS Fleet Solutions!

Hi All

i have had a car through NHS fleet solutions, customer service and the car was great! no issues at all with servicing and an all round good experience... up until giving the car back!

i had changed careers and left the organisation i was working for and had to pay an early termination fee - no problem paid as soon as invoice landed. 28th July 2023

I then started to get requests for more money to be paid and when i questioned it, they said do not worry your case is settled. Then my old NHS organisation said i needed to pay £990 back in overpaid wages to settle this early termination fee. I questioned this and they said you need to pay and claim it back if its wrong. I had already paid £1111 termination fee so was not going to be out of pocket nearly another grand so refused! They actually said i have overpaid the temrination fee as was due about £150 back in a refund (still have not received)
I have spoken to NHS fleet solutions several times and they say i will get this matter resolved but then i get a invoice through for 'aborted collection visit on 12th September 2023 and that i owed nearly £200 for this.
I gave the car back 28th July why am i being charged this!?
I also now 30th October received a parking charge fine in Manchester on the 12th September saying i owe £100 on a car i should no longer be the registered keeper on!

Should i seek legal advice or just keep being persistent with contacting these back? I call and email so many times and have kept all the trail but I feel bombarded with requests for payment now its draining!

any one else had a similar experience?

Can you go direct to the lease company that provided the car and see what they have on file?

Sounds like there's a mistake been made at NHS Fleet and they need to sort it out. The car should have been re-registered either to trade or if they sold it, to the new owner. You need to persist with NHS fleet, they are usually pretty good. I'd also send any copies of paperwork to your old employer showing the termination fee was settled. They may be wrong, but easier to clear it up than have them making things any worse.
