Do any of you collect these rewards when fuelling your car?

I'm specifically looking at people who use the app & even more specifically on an Android phone.

No matter what I do I can't get the app to collect points. It says hold near the terminal but every time I do it just gives an error beep on the machine. 4 times we tried tonight. 

But if I use a physical keyfob, it works no problem.

Have you got NFC/location activated on your phone?  I normally have it set to OFF but have to switch on to register the points.

Yeah I could pay for it perfectly fine contactless using Samsung Pay+.

Just couldn't collect points through their app contactless.

No they don't. 
I'm asking about collecting points from a company that ceased to exist many years ago.
