Are they competing for the 'useless' title Evri/Hermes currently seem to hold?

Bought a product, supplier uses DX Express, who give me an 'all day' delivery date. Options limited to "choose another date or leave with a neighbour", so I decide to remain stuck in the house all day as neighbours work.

At midday I get a text saying "courier unable to make delivery, choose another date", well at least only my whole morning was wasted, not the whole day!  I choose another date & DX allocate a 2 hour time slot & courier delivers.

Unfortunately product is damaged, but supplier is brilliant, I send photo's & they immediately send me a replacement (& don't want the damaged on returned), excellent.

Unfortunately, they use DX Express again. This time DX give me a delivery date (today), with a time slot of 14:21-16:21. Better than 'wait all day', I'm in from 12:00, tracking courier route via GPS, can see when he's about 3 miles from my house, in a couple of different areas, then veers off in the wrong direction, remaining there without moving for a few hours, then GPS disappears. Time slot comes & goes.......no delivery.

I phone, automated of course, confirms they "have my parcel, can deliver tomorrow" with an all day time slot.

Don't we have ANY efficient delivery companies out there.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.
