assuming the buyer is speaking the truth then the parcel arrived damaged. thus you have at least a reason to claim on your insurance unless of course it was not packed well enough in which case RM might reject the claim on this ground

you should have no trouble if you have a way of proving the value of the item yes they might initially offer you postage but then you go back to them and claim the full amount0 -

It used to only be available to Top Rated sellers when first introduced several years ago but my understanding is they rolled it out to more members a while back, can't see a criteria, there probably is one such as not being below standard but whether it applies to just business sellers or private as well I'm not sure.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

As for the partial refund/deduction, there was no such option for me. Only option was to refund fully which I did yesterday. I’ll just take the loss and try recover some money and sell other parts separately. Person only had 10 feedback score. I usually don’t really pay attention to feedback though as this is first time this happened to me. Most of the time I dealt with decent people.0
