I have an American style fridge freezer which I'm told needs re-gassed.
Does anyone know of any repairers who could do this please?

I am pretty sure you can get gas from Homebase and B&Q - this is where I go for my BBQ but I am not sure if this is the right kind that you need. What kind of gas does it take?-1

There will be a reason it needs regassing, like a leak that isn't worth trying to repair. Fridges usually use freon, and you can't just buy it anywhere. It's a job for a professional. You could try to find a local fridge repair company and see what they say.

The gas is in a sealed system and can't be just be 'topped up'. It's a very specialised task that could not be done outside of a factory unit.Because of the gasses they contain there are laws about how you can dispose of them.1

Who told you it needs regassing? They clearly don't know its almost impossible to do to a fridge as a repair and even if you find someone who has the skill to do it (99% of hvac engineers won't touch it) it will never be as good as a factory sealed unit1

Normally either hfc or r134 both damaging to the planet if released to atmosphere.
Both condense well making them suitable for cooling1 -
Just look for refrigeration repairs in your area, Google will come up with a few.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

If you had bothered reading the description you will find it is for cars air con which is designed to be refilled as they have refill ports (more expensive then getting it done by a garage though)
Just so you're aware fridges do not have refill ports they are sealed systems so what you have posted is clearly not what they need
Please again stop posting inaccurate information least of the issue is you cost them a lot of money unnecessarily at the worst end of the scale you could cause an injury4
