Euro car parks Browncross Street - location code

Hi everyone,
I was hoping someone could advise me on the best way to respond to Euro car parks regarding a location code fine i've received. I park in this car park a lot so was surprised to receive the fine but what's happened is my ringo app has picked up the location code for the strip of street to the south of the car park instead of the big car park area and i've just not noticed. Both car parks are operated by Euro Car Parks. As they didnt make it clear on the original PCN that it related to a location code issue I just sent them a copy of the payment for 12hrs of parking. They then responded pointing to the fact it was a different location code.
Looking on the street the only signage relating to the location code I paid for is on the side of the machine.
How would you go about responding now? Any tips would be really greatly appreciated.

You have not got a fine it's a speculative invoice from a bunch of chancers. Not much you can do now that you have the inevitable rejection from an unregulated parking company from their perspective, they were never going to accept anything you said anyway, no money in accepting victims appeals. You can try POPLA but they are pretty useless and only decide on procedure, contract law, signage etc what you did on the day won't wash. You should also note that in cases like this there are three factors in play; the landowner gets the tariff, the on line app gets a fee, and the PPC hopes you make a mistake somewhere along the line as that's the only way they get their ill gotten gains via a PCN (if you cave in).In reality the fact that the signage says Euro in both car parks they will not have received any money from the parking fee you paid, the wrong land owner did (though I wouldn't put it past Euro to put different location numbers on land owned by the same landowner to fund their scam).I never ever let parking apps choose their best fit location it's invariably wrong where multiple car parks are in close proximity always enter the location. However after saying all this don't get hung up on it Euro are Muppets not an authority, and they don't particularly like the inside of the Small Claims Court no reason to pay them a ridiculous fee for their directors next Range RoverYou should now read the newbies thread on here which explains the whole sorry process you are in plan A is always the first step.

Your PoPLA code is clearly showing. Anyone reading it could deliberately put in a malicious appeal to guarantee that you will lose. They could even include rude or libellous comments.
You need to get that image removed asap.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks3 -
I wouldn't bother with POPLA. Just ignore it and come back here if you get a LBC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
