Good morning, I'm late this morning.
I've just come in from visiting my house bound friend up the road, she gave me coffee laced with brandy!
Not planning to go out today but there's plenty to do here.
Dh is moving the shed again, it was near the house wall and we wondered if it was causing a little patch of damp inside. We'll see how it goes.
Sorry to hear you've had a bad weekend Coxy, hope you can get your salary sorted out. That, plus everything else you've got going on, is enough to put a downer on anyone.
Glad you enjoyed Dawn French Gers.
Camelot, sounds as if you've had a lively but lovely weekend!
Enjoy your holiday Dp1, dg d will be pleased to see you.
Hope everyone is ok, sorry, I know I've missed people.
Take care folks6 -
Afternoon all, late today as had to go into town with DH to pay a cheque in. Good thing we were in an actual bank as the machine rejected it twice
Had to drive round town as there are roadworks everywhere. I'd taken my library books to exchange too. It's wet again.
Glad you had a lovely day Camelot.Went to visit our friends yesterday & stopped off to get a few bits for them from the sm as they still haven't got their car back, it's been back and forth for weeks but hopefully today. We had roast gammon for tea, and apple and blackberry crunble.Tonight I have taken some lamb chops out so not much effort needed there.Coxy, ooh that's a bit of a drop in salary, hope you can persuade them you're worth more.Might be visiting an electrical outlet later to check out some appliances for the almost finished house DH is working on.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
