PCN Private car park Disabled space

I accidentally parked in
a disabled space in a retail park car park as I never noticed the badge on the floor as a car was driving out and I reversed in, also the space only had the extra width markings on one side of the space which made it look as though the space next to me was disabled and not mine . It’s resulted in me receiving a notice through the post from Group Nexus of a £60 charge if paid now or £100 if after 14 days. Is this legal ? And do I have to pay it or will it go to court ?
I’ve attached a photo to show the car park space I parked in, my space is the one with the pink arrow. Also the disabled space I parked in looks narrower then the normal space next to it.
thanks

Please read the NEWBIES thread first.
How come it was a PCN by post? No windscreen PCN first?
Please show a pic of the PCN - both sides - but cover your name, address and PCN and VRM numbers.

I'll leave CM to comment on the ticket but there is a reference number still visible which I suggest you block out and then Re upload the image.2

It is a POFA PCN, so the keeper can be liable.
But it looks like they've put their blue badge sign on the wrong pole, as the other spaces on the left of your photo don't seem to be accessible bays. And there is no sign in view warning of £100 other-spaces.
The BA CoP says accessible bays must have a 'full t&c' sign readable from the car seat. This does not comply so I'd give the appeal farce a go next month, if your first PLAN A complaint fails.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You have to laugh at the Terms signs at that car park:

A Blue Badge bay? Perhaps the parking operative didn't see the OP's Blue Peter badge on the dashboard.
The blue sign, high up above head height and nowhere near the space where the vehicle was parked refers to Disabled Parking, not a "Blue Badge bay," but the rest of the wording is in such tiny font that it cannot be read.
I agree with C-m; take photos from the driving seat or stills from a dashcam as the vehicle approaches from the left, (then reverses in if the space is free, but obviously don't park). I doubt the blue sign will be visible in any of the images.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Why is there no detail of entrance/exit times on the PCN? It could've been 7 seconds for all we know!0
